GROUP RULES
 Divide the philosophers/scientists equally among your group – no more than 3 people to a group.
 Each group member is responsible for the research on their individual philosophers/scientists.
 Only the chosen topic should be subject of any discussion in group – STAY ON TASK!
 Each group will receive a group grade that indicates how well they were on task & worked together.
“BASEBALL CARDS”
1.) ON THE FRONT: Put the person’s name in fairly large letters. Decorate (with color) to reflect the ideas,
importance & contributions of the person.
2.) ON THE BACK: Divide the back into 3 sections (must have 2 items in each section):
a. Major Achievements – Philosophy, Ideas, Contributions, etc.
b. Relevant, Significant Quotes (find one that summarizes their importance)
c. Any Published Materials (books they wrote, etc.)
* Each member of group MUST have all 9 cards in their deck, but they are to use the research of other members
for the information. Accuracy, importance of facts chosen & creativity will be part of your grade.
