Parents: Please help your child in forming their ideas before writing their list, at school we use a ‘think, say, write,
check’ procedure to support them constructing a sentence.
Write a letter for Santa
Write a letter with your wish list. Remember, we use commas
when we write long lists of things.
Dear Santa, how are you? For Christmas I would like a woolly
hat, two books, a pet elephant and a space rocket.
