Sue will have a “Tail or Two” to tell about their Alpacas! They have a display of Pre-Television Radios and
Memorabilia of “Bygone days”.
There is no designated location for departure this time for various reasons, but the following “Way Points”
will help with navigation, and after you pass Manukau City on the Southern Motorway, your travel time
should be around 30 minutes.
It would be helpful to arrive at our destination between 10:30 am and 11:00 am, and bring a plate for
morning tea and a folded chair would be helpful too!

Take exit 461 PUKEKOHE – DRURY, right to go under the motorway
Left at RARARAMA 4km. onto Old Great South Road
Right off Great South Road into RUNCIMAN Road, you are climbing the Bombays.
Turn Left onto PUKEKOHE EAST Road (Bombay to Pukekohe East Main Road)
Right with care into HARRISVILLE Road (Heading towards Tuakau)
Continue to and over the Railway Line and through TUAKAU main street
(GEORGE STREET)
Left at 10km ONEWHERO (Continuation of George Street)
After a short distance turn RIGHT into MORGANS ROAD, then LEFT into
THORN ROAD.
No.25 is the last on the LEFT at the end of the Cul-de-sac. PARK IN THE STREET.
After the visit, a recommended café for lunch is on the right at the NORTH end of Tuakau main street,
immediately after crossing the Railway track “Sugar Plum Bakery”.
