Moonstruck: The True Story of the Cow Who Jumped Over the Moon by Gennifer Choldenko Miss Cow stood off to the side for quite sometime watching the horses training to jump over the moon. Miss Cow dreamed of jumping over the moon herself. One day she got up the courage to ask if she could join the moon jump training. The head horse agreed but he let it be known that if she wasn't able to keep up with the other horses, she was out. Miss Cow never gave up; she was the first to arrive in the morning and the last to leave every day. As training was winding down, Miss Cow had one last task that she needed to complete, the wall. If she could make it over the wall, she could make it over the moon. Without a moment's hesitation, Miss Cow went up and over that wall. She mooed with great joy and delight when her all her hard work and determination paid off. Miss Cow was selected to jump over the moon and her dream was fulfilled.
