TAC Hospital Inspector Training Expressions of Interest The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) accredits Departments of Anaesthesia in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore, to provide approved anaesthesia training sites for ANZCA trainees. Accreditation requires an onsite inspection by the College in order to assess a Department’s ability to provide training and supervision of the required standard, and its degree of compliance with ANZCA Professional Documents. The Training Accreditation Committee (TAC) runs annual workshops for prospective inspectors. The workshops include: Aim and structure of inspections Organisational requirements Discussion of past difficulties TAC accreditation visits A Mastering Interview Skills workshop Prospective inspectors can also receive training by attending inspections with senior inspectors. TAC invites Fellows who are interested in becoming TAC hospital inspectors to submit expressions of interest by completing and submitting the form below to tmurphy@anzca.edu.au.
