Variation to Victorian Landcare Grant Funding Agreement
Context
Pursuant to Clause 4.2 of the Funding Agreement, a funding recipient must submit a variation
proposal if they anticipate any changes to the outcome or budget of a project.
The following business rules apply to variations to Victorian Landcare Grant (VLG) projects.

The funding recipient may propose to vary the budget or expected outputs of project
activities.

Any such variation must be negotiated with and agreed to by the Authority and subsequently
the Investor.

Any agreed variation/s will then form part of the Agreement.

Time extension variation will not be considered.

Funding recipients may submit variation proposals at any time before 30 August of the
year of project completion. Proposals to vary projects received after this date will not be
considered, unless agreed by the Authority to be warranted.

A variation proposal can be submitted by a nominated representative of the organisation
seeking the variation.

Funding recipients must submit a signed variation proposal to EGCMA via email
(abartkowski@egcma.com.au) or by mail addressed to:
Amanda Bartkowski
Regional Landcare Coordinator
East Gippsland Catchment Management Authority
PO Box 1012
Bairnsdale
VIC 3875

Variation proposals will not be considered unless they contain all the information required, as
outlined in the variation template.

Funding recipients will be advised if a variation proposal does not contain the required
information. The Authority will request that the required information be provided, and specify
whether the variation proposal needs to be re-submitted and the time frame in which this
information is required. If the requested information is not provided within the specified
timeframe, the variation proposal may be rejected.
