Registration Information
2013-2014
Applications:
Accepting applications during Summer Orientation and the first week of school
Tuition must be paid prior to the student participating in the program (cash or money order, exact
amount only).
- Payment for the half-month of August is due at Summer Orientation at a charge of $50.00
- Payment for September can be made during the Summer Orientations and the first two weeks of
school
- If you choose to pay on a month-by-month, payment is due on or before the last
Friday of the month prior. Please see the “Monthly Payment Schedule” for specific dates.
-If you choose to pay for the entire year upfront, a discount is available. Please see the “Discount”
portion of the registration packet for further information.
Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday from 3:30 – 5:15 PM (Promptly)
Start Date: September 2, 2013*
*Spots are also available for the first two weeks of school for an additional payment of $50
End Date: May 30, 2014
Program Goals:
To offer homework assistance from certificated teachers
To provide access to Compass Odyssey and Gizmos (computer-based learning programs)
To provide assistance for students struggling in academics
Fun Friday (non-homework activities)
Transportation:
Car Riders - Pick-up time is promptly at 5:15 PM. If you arrive after 5:15 PM, there will be an initial
charge of $25 for the first fifteen minutes. There will be a $1 per minute charge after the initial
fifteen minutes. If you are late more than three times your child may be withdrawn from the program and
their slot given to a student on the waiting list.
Tuition:
Cost for individual students: $135 flat monthly fee (cash or money order ONLY)
Siblings ONLY: Cost for 1st child $135 and 2nd child $90 ($225 monthly)1
Tuition is due in advance of the student’s attendance in the program. Tuition is amortized across the
school year and all monthly tuition is the same. Students will not receive a discount due to nonattendance and there will not be any refunds once a payment is made. Students who participate in
athletics may keep their spot in the program only by continuing to pay the monthly fee. Athletes may
withdraw from Community Education during their athletic season, but will not be guaranteed a spot to
return to the program upon exiting.

*If payment is made for siblings at Summer Orientation, a double discount will not be received. The cost will be $1,000 for the first
child, and $90 per month for the second child ($810).
Discount:
The yearly cost to attend the program is $1,135. If you pay for the entire year either at orientation or
during the first two weeks of school, you will receive a discount of $135 (new yearly cost of $1,000). All
payments must be made in exact cash or a money order.
Monthly Payment Schedule:
Monthly payments are due on or before the last Friday of the month prior. There is no discount available
for month-by-month payments.

Pick Up Procedures:
For security purposes and for the safety of your child, parents/guardians must come into the main office to
pick up their child if prior to 5:15 PM.
