Current enrolments 204. No new enrolments this term.
School Plan has been published on the school’s website. We are now working
on the milestones.
School Development Day focused on goal setting, programming and teachers
received a special awareness session on cochlear implants and how to cater for
students who are hearing impaired.
ANZAC Assembly to be held on Friday to commemorate the centenary of the
first ANZAC Day. This will be a special assembly. Captains will be attending a
planting of a lone pine at the hospital grounds on Friday and students have
been encouraged to march on Saturday.
Art exhibition will be held on Friday night and all day Saturday. It has been
decided not to hold a Sunday session as it clashes with the ICPA tennis day.
P&C will only need to cater for the morning and afternoon teas on Saturday.
Variety Bash has contacted the school and offered a helicopter ride for one
student and a family member. This will be drawn from the yellow award
bucket at assembly on the 8th May.
Term 2 will focus on assessments. Reports have been slightly changed to
reflect the current syllabus documents and outcomes taught. Parent interviews
will be held in the last week of school
NAPLAN testing will occur for students in Year 3 & 5 from 12th May – 14th May
