Summer Disco tickets still available– buy now for next Thursday!
Our Summer Disco will take place on 25th June. Reception will have their disco
from 2.30pm until 3pm for a contribution of £1.
Years 1, 2 & 3 will be from 3.15pm – 4.15pm and the cost will be £3. Please send
in a bag containing their disco clothes so that they can change in their
classrooms at 3pm: class teachers will supervise. Please collect your children
promptly at 4.15pm.
Years 4, 5 and 6 will then have their disco from 4.30pm – 5.45 pm and again,
the cost will be £3.
Ticket prices will include a drink. Small snack items and sweets will be available
for children to purchase, (Years 1 to 6). Please do not send children with more
than £2 to spend.
Year 6,4 and 2: fantastic behaviour on their trips this week
I had the pleasure of accompanying Year 6 to Drayton Manor on Wednesday.
We had a fantastic day: I was extremely proud of the way our pupils worked
together in their individual groups, showed thought and consideration towards
each other, members of staff and the general public.
Miss Stokes enjoyed both a morning and afternoon tour of religious buildings in
Birmingham! Again, Miss Stokes commented on the excellent behaviour of our
Y2 and Y4 students who were very excited to be on the open top bus!
Thank you all for being a credit to our school.
Next week is sports week!
Please remember to send your child to school with a hat, sunscreen and an
extra drink/refillable bottle of water. Remember there are races for mums,
dads and toddlers!
Uniform Matters
As you know, we have a uniform policy. An important part of the policy is
footwear. School shoes should be black and in the style of a regular shoe. High
tops, trainers or any footwear emblazoned with logos are not acceptable. If
your child has out-grown their school shoes, with just four weeks of term left,
I suggest you provide a pair of black pumps which they can wear indoors.
Children are welcome to change into their trainers at lunchtime. Thank you.
