ICING BUNS
First Class Have been really busy! We read all about icing cupcakes and decided it would be a great
idea to ice some ourselves! We all had a turn to ice our buns and pick a yummy topping ! We let
them set and had a great feast after lunch! We also designed our own cupcakes and had great fun
colouring and cutting them out.
CASTLES
This month we’ve been learning all about castles. We have learned lots of new words like
battlements, siege, moats and ramparts. Ms Hickey had a great idea , we should make our own
castle Ms Worsley wasn’t so sure!! Mrs Otter helped us cut out the battlements and make the draw
bridges and then we painted them. The only problem was the water ran out and we went home to
our mams with very black hands!! When the castles dried we were allowed to play with them and
we have had great fun with our knights and horses. Who knew you could have such fun with a
cardboard box!!!!
