Announcements for Tuesday, March 31st, 2015
 The Varsity Softball Team lost a hard fought 8-5 decision to Bartlett Yancey last
night. The JV team did not play.
 The Baseball Teams turned the tables on the Bucs by sweeping a JV/Varsity
double header. With Austin Hall on the bump, the JV team romped to a 17-1
victory in 4 innings while the Varsity also won big by a score of 15-5. Clay
Moore picked up the win for the Cougars and contributed to his own cause with a
2 run homer.
 Both softball teams and baseball teams will be in action tonight when we host
Eastern Alamance. The JV baseball team starts things off at 4:30. The JV softball
team plays at 5:00.
 The track team is also in action this afternoon hosting Northeast Guilford in a dual
meet beginning at 4:30.
 The Bass Fishing Club will meet after school today in Mr. Belter’s room.
 Congratulations to Destiny Alderin, Corey Crowe, and Andrea Loving for being
finalist at the North Carolina HOSA State Conference.
 Seniors that received cap and gown proofs should return their completed order
form to Mrs. Griffin or Mrs. Quill. The sooner you turn them in the sooner you
get them back. Make up cap and gown pictures are scheduled for the afternoon of
April 9th. There will be sign-up sheet in the front office next Monday.
 Any student interested in volunteering with Special Olympics on April 17th,
please pick up an application form from either the front office or Ms. Barrier's
room. These are due back to Ms. Barrier by Friday, April 10th.
