Graduation speaker tryout applications are now available in the Attendance Office. Applications are due May15th. The tryouts will be held on Tuesday, May 19th after school. Would you like a new-to-you bike in excellent condition? The next ReCycle Bike Drive is Sunday, May 3rd, from 10am to 1pm. I am hoping we can use the auto shop yard to store bikes for a week while we distribute them to other schools. Volunteer on Sunday to clean bikes, and you can pick the bike you want to take home! Stay tuned for fun activities this week! E3 Youth Philanthropy is now accepting applications for the 2015-2016 program. Applications are due Friday, May 15 th. The MVLA Speech & Debate Team has their annual Showcase event this Wednesday from 7:00-9:00pm in the MVHS Theater. Come out and see their performance! There will be food. The Gift of Vision is having an eye glass drive this week. Drop off used glasses in any of the boxes located in your history classes, Library or Tutorial Center any time this week to support those in need. They will also be having an ice cream sale tomorrow after school. QSA is holding a Day of Silence tomorrow to draw attention to the silencing effects of anti-LGBTQ bullying. Stop by the quad before school and during brunch for information and duct tape. Cheer tryouts for next year’s team is still under negotiation.
