Influence Stakeholders with decision-making power or who can influence your project because they have a critical skill and/or knowledge; or because they are a ‘key’ person in the life of your individual, group, community. Proximity Stakeholders with whom you interact most. This can include internal stakeholders as well as external stakeholders. Dependency Stakeholders who will directly or indirectly be affected by your project. Even though stakeholders may be indirectly affected, the magnitude or strength of the effect may be of sufficient importance for you to consider them as a key stakeholder. The effect can be positive or negative.
