MINISTERS OF THE WORD ROTA - Tarbert parish now has a rota of Ministers of the Word, who will read the Scriptures
at weekend and other celebrations of the Eucharist. Alongside the team of regular readers, we are happy to invite a
family member who is present for an Anniversary, Month’s mind etc., to proclaim the Word of God. The Minister of the
Word will read the First Reading and the Responsorial Psalm (if not sung) and the family member may read the Second
Reading and the Gospel Acclamation (if no choir present). Should a family member wish to do all readings they must
contact the designated reader.
DANCING – Will resume in Tarbert Community Centre on Friday, January 15th from 7 to 9pm. €5. Everyone welcome.
JIM MACKLIN FUNDRAISING would like to thank all the wonderful people who helped in any way for our fundraiser,
and especially to all the generosity shown to the ticket sellers,the fundraiser was a great success ,and Jim & all his
family send their thanks & appreciation to each and every one of you! Merry Christmas!
TARBERT 2016 CALENDARS are on sale at usual outlets. Proceeds from Calendar sales will go towards funding
projects which will be undertaken by Development Association and Historical and Heritage Society in 2016.
