LITURGY, WORSHIP AND SPIRITUAL LIFE
_____ Commentator-Greets, reads the Prayers of the Faithful, and makes final announcements.

_____ Lector-Proclaims the Scripture at weekend and holy day liturgies.

______ Schola- A group within the choir ministry dedicated to the Gregorian chants and related liturgical styles.
_____ Prayer Hot Line-Notified by phone, prays at home for critical & immediate needs.
_____ Shepherds of Christ-Meet in the chapel to pray for many intentions using special prayer format.
_____ Ministry of Praise-Regular intercessory prayer on your own for needs of the church & parishioners.
_____ Divine Mercy Cenacle-Small faith group promoting the Eucharist, God’s mercy, & good works.
_____ Adoration-Commit a regular hour of worship each week in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.
CHURCH AND ALTAR CARE
_____ Altar Guild-Meet once a week to lightly clean and prepare the Church for weekend Masses.
_____ Altar Linen Care-Launder and iron the cloths used on the altar during Mass.
_____ Decorations/Flowers-coordinates and conducts the flower ministry of the church.
SOCIAL ACTION & OUTREACH MINISTRIES
_____ Christmas Sharing-Helps to organize & supervise the distributions of Christmas gifts to the needy.
_____ Haiti Ministry-Organizes support for our twin parish in Haiti, associated medical clinic and school.
_____ Mary’s House-Parish outreach & support for pregnant & new moms. Training provided for some positions.
_____ Meals on Wheels/Homebound Meals-Deliver lunches to the elderly and homebound 4-6 times per year.
_____ Respect Life Ministry-Advocate for and publicize issues relating to the sanctity of human life.
_____ St. Gerard Ministry-Prayer and meal assistance for hopeful, expectant and postpartum mothers.
_____ Prison Ministry-Communion services & instructions in the faith to inmates of area prisons.
_____ SACRA-Help clients in need of food and economic assistance.
PARISH COMMUNITY LIFE
_____ Baking Committee-Members are called upon as needed to bake goodies for parish events.
_____ Funeral Receptions-Organize & host a light meal in Assisi Hall for family and friends after a funeral.
_____ Kitchen Committee-Group maintains and stocks Assisi Hall kitchen.
_____ Social Events-Plan, organize & host 3-5 social events throughout the year.
_____ Senior Adult Fellowship-an endeavor to provide a quality meal to the seniors on first Wed. of the month
PARISH ORGANIZATIONS
_____ Catholic Daughters-Catholic women who offer support to parishioners as well as other charities.
_____ Knights of Columbus-Catholic men assist the Pastor in enhancing parish life & perform charitable works.
_____ Legion of Mary-Members pray together & visit parishioners, e.g. new members, shut-ins, & the sick.
OTHER OPPORTUNITIES
_____ Bazaar Committee- Help plan & conduct raffles as well as a bazaar on a Saturday in November.
_____ Parish Library-Help to maintain the Library collection, process materials, and straighten shelves.
_____ Buildings & Grounds-Evaluates, plans & oversees major renovations & maintenance of the property.
_____ Collection Counter-Teams work once every other month for about 4 hours to count weekend collections.
