Purpose:
Explain variations in temperature.
Instructions:
1. Find a thermometer that can take the temperature outside.
2. Choose an open location near your home (a field or rooftop) to take
temperature readings at different times of the day. You will also observe
cloud cover.
3. Record the time, temperature readings and your observations of the cloud
cover (i.e. cloudy, partly cloudy, clear, etc.) in the tables below.
4. Take the temperature readings and observe cloud cover for four days.
