‫קורס זה ינסה לפשט את העסוק בהתפתחות התיאוריה הביקרותית ויסביר במושגים בסיסיים את המעבר‬
‫בין ביקורת מודירניסטית לביקורת פוסטמודרניסטית‪ .‬מטרת הקורס הוא להנהיר באופן השוואתי‪-‬עיוני‬
‫טקסטים מקוריים של מספר הוגים מרכזיים של העידנים המודרני והפוסטמודרני‪ .‬הקורס יעמוד על נקודת‬
‫השבר במעבר מביקורת מודרנית לפוסטמודרנית‪ ,‬להבין את משמעויותיה והשלכותיה על מעמדה של‬
‫התיאוריה הביקורתית‪ .‬מטרה נוספת של הקורס היא לחשוף את הסטודנטים לאספקטים שונים של‬
‫התיאוריה הביקורתית‪ ,‬הכוללים ביקורת המוסר הליברלי‪ ,‬ביקורת הכלכלה המדינית‪ ,‬איקזסטנציאליזם‪,‬‬
‫פמניזם‪ ,‬ביקורת ההיגמוניה המדינתית‪ ,‬דהקונסטרוקציה‪ ,‬תיאוריית התקשורת הרציונאלית‪ ,‬תיאוריית‬
‫הדפרנד‪ ,‬ופוסטקולוניאליזם‪ .‬ההתעמקות בכתבי הוגי מסורות אלה תאפשר מבט כולל על התפתחות‬
‫התיאוריה הביקורתית ותאפשר שימוש בה לצורכי מחקר‪.‬‬
‫‪Critical Theory from Modern and Postmodern Perspective‬‬
‫‪Prof. Amal Jamal‬‬
‫‪This course seeks to simplify the treatment of the development of critical theory. It‬‬
‫‪introduces the meaning and implications of the shift from modern to postmodern‬‬
‫‪critique in basic terms. The course aims to make critical theory understandable‬‬
‫‪through comparative-theoretical tools, while reading original texts of leading‬‬
‫‪theoreticians of the critical tradition. Another goal of the course is to understand the‬‬
‫‪shift from modern to postmodern critique, its meaning and its implications. It‬‬
‫‪addresses various aspects of the critical tradition that include; critique of moral theory,‬‬
‫‪critique of political economy, existentialism, feminism, critique of modern state,‬‬
‫‪deconstruction, theory of communicative action, the theory of Differend and‬‬
‫‪postcolonialism. Delving into the thought of central critical thinkers enables a better‬‬
‫‪understanding of the development of critical theory and promotes its use in future‬‬
‫‪research.‬‬
