due to the wonderful care she received at Exeter premature
baby unit. Her parents Shayne and Tamsin are now
collecting used stamps to raise money for the unit. Please
help by passing on stamps to Anne or Heather, who will

Prayer diary for November
Monday
Lord, show me the path on which you wish me to travel this week. Walk with me
along that path. Amen.
Tuesday
Lord, give me the ability to step out in faith, following your many promptings.
Knowing that if I do you will be there with me. Amen
Wednesday
Lord, protect me from doubts and fear, from anxiety and misunderstandings.
Help me to come closer to you, that I might understand the true extent of your
love for me. Amen
Thursday
Lord. Today my thoughts are with the many refugees across the world. I do not
know how I can help Lord, but you do. Please show me if there is practical help I
can give. I pray for all people who have had to flee their homes, I pray for all
the families but especially the children. I pray for the aid workers who are trying
to help them and I pray for those who are responsible for this situation. Amen
Friday
Lord, I pray today for my families and friends. For those who are sick I ask for
your healing touch and for those who do not know you ask that you will bless
them and soften their hearts that they may be able to receive your love.
Saturday
Lord I pray for those who have lost loved ones especially ………….. The weekends
can be the most lonely of times when memories come flooding in. Embrace and
comfort them in your loving arms. Amen
Sunday
O Lord I pray today for all the families who do not get to spend this day together
as a day of rest. Many are separated through no fault of their own, thinking
particularly of those in the armed forces who are often away from their loved
ones; others who work in hospitals and the emergency services, and aid workers
who are miles away from their families. I pray that you will bless them and keep
them safe. Amen
Thank you to Heather for this month’s prayers. If you would like to write prayers

November 2015
Three Rivers Team
Looking back to October in brief
It has definitely been the season of mist and mellow
fruitfulness and harvest celebration, thank you to all who
decorated and donated, to make our churches look delightful
and to those who cooked and baked so we could share harvest
food together.
EXPERIENCE HARVEST
Lewannick church put on an interactive
series of delays and all the school came
and took part over 2 days. Harvest of the
ocean, garden, flocks, grain and earth
were discovered as well as thinking about
the harvest of the gifts of the spirit.
FROM TRURO TO TENGANI – SOUTH PETHERWIN
Roz Heyns spoke passioanly about how Jesus is setting people free from the
powers of witchcraft and culture, and is transforming people in Africa with a new

Alabaster Ministries, its Christian message and its practical aid to people in
Malawi.

I was delighted to find that I had been elected as a clergy representative to the
General Synod of the Church of England, sadly I miss the inaugural meeting in
November as I am on holiday so will miss the Queen’s Speech and Communion
at Westminster Abbey, but am very much looking forward to the meeting in
February.
