If you could be intreasted speak to Anne Prayer Diary - Suggestions for daily prayer Monday Lord God, guide me in your ways, that i may walk faithfully the path before me, knowing that you are always with me. Amen Tuesday Lord God, thank you that you are always with me, even when I forget about you, you never forget about me, Amen. Wednesday Lord, I pray for those whom I love and care for, those who I see often and those far away, keep them safe and enfold them in your loving care. Amen Thursday Lord, Inspire me to be your true and faithful servant. Inspire and encourage me in my faith journey, that I may find new ways daily to serve you. Amen Friday Lord, today I pray for the world, for the places where your light does not appear to be shining, and your word does not appear to be heard, raise up leaders who will bring your light once again into the world, so that your glory may be seen and known Amen Saturday Lord, I offer to you all those things of the past week, my worries and concerns, the things I have done well and the things I could have done better, and I pray especially for …………… who you have placed into my thoughts as needing your loving presence. Amen Sunday O Lord, Make the doors of our church wide enough to receive all who need human love and fellowship, and your care, and narrow enough to shut out all envy, pride and uncharitableness. Here may the tempted find succour, the sorrowing receive comfort, here may the careless be awakened to repentance, the penitent be assured of your mercy; and here may all your children renew their strength and go on their way rejoicing through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen If you would like to write prayers for this page of Octobers Bulletin, please contact Anne by September 21st September 2015 Three Rivers Team Looking back to August- in brief, and another joyous month although the summer weather has been elusive LEWANNICK FETE AND DOG SHOW Good weather brought out many people for the first fete and Dog Show to be held on a Sunday, the event was preceded my our Communion Service, held in the tent, and the whole days was a great success with many dogs and owners staying for the pet service which concluded the event. SAFEGUARDING AUDIT Thanks to those who came and took part in the Safeguarding Audit, in general all is well, but there are some areas and ideas that we are looking to build upon both within the parishes and across the Diocese. HORTICULTURAL SHOWS North Hill, Lezant and Lawhitton all held their annual horticultural shows from small to large exhibits all shows had something for everyone, always a highlight of the wider parish calendars NORTH HILL CREAM TEAS An exceptional year despite the rather inclement weather, and the church provided suitable space for an enjoyable afternoon. OPEN GARDEN AND AFTERNOON TEA at TREWANTA PARK Although the weather wasn’t wonderful the garden and hospitality made up for it, a good afternoon in delightful surroundings LEZANT PET SERVICE A collection of dogs, cats and owners gathered for the pet service which was followed by treats for all. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ South Petherwin Community Shop Open Daily 8-12 in the Church Supporting Cornish Dairy Farmers by stocking Cornish Dairy Products
