Aims This course is designed for non-native speakers of English and aims a. to assist students to read and understand basic texts b. to introduce students to the basic skills needed for writing in English c. to raise awareness of the linguistic features of descriptive and informative texts d. to build on students’ knowledge of the linguistic resources for writing in English e. to raise awareness of the linguistic features of expository texts 16.
