Healthcare Liaison- Full Time
Cedar Valley Hospice is seeking a full time Healthcare Liaison. The Healthcare Liaison is a member of the
Advancement team and will assist in developing and implementing a regularly structured outreach
program in accordance with Cedar Valley Hospice standards. The primary focus of this position will be
to identify and engage potential referral sources while maintaining active communication with current
referral sources. The goal is to educate healthcare professionals about Cedar Valley Hospice services
and recognizing patient eligibility. This person will also develop and maintain positive working
relationships in order to ensure patient end-of-life care needs are identified and that the agency meets
or exceeds goals for growth. The success of this position will be measured by the increase in hospice
admissions and patient average length of stay.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of healthcare sales/marketing or pharmaceutical experience required.
Existing referral source relationships preferred.
Experience in hospice, hospital or nursing facilities preferred.
Computer literacy required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Must work well independently and as part of a team.
Valid Iowa driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
