2012 Season Pass Note and More…
Upper Columbia Academy Recreational Skiing Program Sponsors
Schweitzer Mountain Resort is our planned destination for the 2011-2012 season. We
are attaching the documentation for you to get a discount of nearly 50% over the regular
junior season pass price you will pay if you wait until Christmas time to buy. If your
student is planning to take Rec Ski for P.E. credit and go nearly every time, then a
season pass is the best deal. If your child wishes to go just three times, there are ticket
deals on the website. One is a three-pack that you might look into for yourself.
In order to receive this reduced price and offer it to you, UCA must place our order,
one time for all, by October 1st. Any orders sent after October 1st, or separate from the
group order, will be charged at the current price. No other family members will be
given the discount this year, sorry, only students and ski sponsors.
A Schweitzer Season Pass Release Form is attached and required by the mountain to
accompany your order. Please be sure to return it with your payment.
We know skiing and snowboarding are expensive. Some have chosen to take advantage
of this sale price, and buy their mountain pass, and then pay the remaining UCA fees at
Christmas time, right before our ski season really starts.
One last thing to note: HELMETS are required for all of our students this year. If you do
not own or rent a helmet, you will not be allowed to ski or snowboard. Thanks for
helping keep the kids safe. Even a fall with a helmet may result in a concussion or
worse. Please help us by ensuring that they have a helmet.
