My favourite season
is summer. June,
July,
August are summer
months.
Summer is
beautiful.
Everything is
green:
trees, fields, hills.
You can see beautiful flowers
of different colours. They are
red, pink, blue, write, yellow.
Summer is pleasant
because it is warm.
Usually the
temperature is 25
degrees above zero.
The sky is blue.
The sun shines
brightly.
Sometimes it rains.
But rain is warm.
You can listen to
beautiful birds’ songs.
Summer is a «tasty» season
of early apples, cherries,
pears, cucumbers, tomatoes.
Children like summer. They
don't go to school. They ride
bikes, swim in the rivers and
lakes, play football, tennis,
ping-pong.
I enjoy walking in the
wood, sunbathing,
reading fantastic
books.
In summer we don’t
celebrate many holidays.
But my family celebrates
my brother’s birthday.
