Our school will be running an electronics recycling drive between ____January 4th ___ and ___February 10th____. Recycling electronics not only reduces landfill space, but also reduces the number of toxic mineral mines that have to be built in order to extract the copper, nickel, silver, etc. that make up the core of all items that run on electricity. Recycling electronics also keeps substances like mercury and lead, hazardous elements found in traces of most electronic devices, from entering our air and waterways. It is also illegal in PA to throw out most types of electronics. Please drop off or ask your child to drop off your broken or unwanted electronics in the drop off box located in the main office. Make sure that all sensitive or personal info is cleared before recycling.
