Responsible for employee support, achieving positive outcomes, consumer satisfaction, community care licensing compliance and financial health. The Residential Program Manager will monitor and supervise House Supervisors, Facility Managers (as needed) and interns along with having ongoing collaboration contacts with other public and private agencies. The Group Home Administrator main job duties are the following: Responsible for training, evaluating and directing the work of the Group Home Supervisors, Social Workers/Clinicians and Facility Managers. Ensures that the Group Home Supervisors are resourced with a professional development plans that promotes continuous personal and professional growth. Ensures that the Group Homes are in compliance with Title 22 regulations and CARF national accreditation standards. Review and approve all Special Incident Reports and submit to CCL. Ensures that the Group Homes are properly resourced and supported so that clients receive quality treatment services within a safe and healthy residential environment. Ensures that the YFC group home staffing pattern meets the RCL point criteria for a level 12 rating. Responsible for collaboration with the YFC Human Resource and Business Department to ensure that proper documentation is kept that indicates the group Homes are maintaining the needed RCL points for a Level 12 rating. Provide leadership and guidance in a collaborative working relationship with Group Home Supervisors that result in pro-active treatment milieus. Works closely with the Social Services Director, Group Home Supervisors and Social Work staff in maintaining full house occupancy. Works closely with the Group Home Social Worker, Group Home Supervisor and social work staff in coordinating all group home intakes and discharges Serves as the local educational program liaison in working with School Districts. Responsible for all hiring and training of new staff to ensure full coverage in each house. Ensures that there is an emergency on-call system that responds to after hour’s crisis in a safe and timely manner. Obtain CA certification as Group Home Administrator and maintain all required CEU’s. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Group Home Administrator essential duties and responsibilities are the following: Monitoring of group home budget and expenditure. Monitoring maintenance of group home properties. Monitor safety program. Monitors the compliance of program operations to governing regulatory standards. Conduct weekly supervisory meetings Serves as program liaison with referring agencies and program staff primarily during the client intake and discharge phase. Works closely with Intensive Program Services Director and key group home staff in the recruitment, appointment, evaluation, promotion and discharge of employees Schedule work assignments as needed and certify staff time cards. Delegates’ authority to group home staff members as needed in order to insure effective program operations. Works closely with the Social Services Director and key group home staff in responding to Community Care Licensing investigations and oversight. Ensures that staffs first aid, CPR, and water safety certificates are up to date and in compliance with governing regulations. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Group Home Administrator Certificate preferred. Bachelors college degree preferred, (preferably in a related behavioral science field) Three years of supervisory experience. Meet the requirements of a Facility Manager and at least one-year experience in that position. Three years experience working with children in a residential setting. Shall be at least 21 years of age Meet the Health and Safety Code Section 1522.4(a) (in good health, TB Test and a pre-employment physical. Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to become competent in implementing YFC’s philosophy, policies and procedures to best meet the treatment needs of the client population. SKILLS: Patient Flexible Self-Starter Creative Good Communication Skills Team Player Ability to Grow & Learn TRANSPORTATION: If use of your personal vehicle is necessary for Youth for Change business, you will be responsible for keeping a mileage record and submitting it to your supervisor for reimbursement. Proof of current liability insurance on your personal vehicle must be provided at time of employment and when it expires. Personal vehicle insurance is the primary coverage in case you are in an accident in your vehicle while on business for YFC.
