Pastoral Planning. Pastoral Planning is done annually before the start of the YFC year, it is ideally conducted in March or earlier Different Roles. Note the complementary roles of the Chapter and the Cluster when it comes to the different YFC teachings. Chapter level - Youth Camp, YCT, Household and Chapter Assembly Cluster level – 3-Year Pastoral Formation Track, HLT 3. Simultaneous with Chapter Assembly. The implementation of the 3-year PFO will be simultaneous with the Chapter Assembly - only those who have not yet attended a particular 3-year PFO will attend such, the rest will push through with the Chapter Assembly GENERAL GUIDELINES 4. Area of Focus. Although the Pastoral Planning will involve both the Chapter and Cluster Youth Heads and Couple Coordinators, there are different planning considerations or area of focus for the Cluster and Chapter levels, to wit: Level Chapter Area of Focus Members Cluster PFO Track Details Monitors each member of the chapter and see who among them has attended a particular PFO track and who has not Makes sure that the PFO tracks are scheduled, prepared for and conducted. Note: because of the different area of focus, the chapter and cluster level must work hand in hand to ensure that the PFO tracks are carried out to all the members. SPECIFIC PLANNING CONSIDERATION FOR THE CHAPTER 1. 2. On the 1st implementation of the new PFO, all the members of the chapter will attend the said PFO Take note of the members usual activities every month, considering: Week 1 Chapter Collective Household Week 2 Week 3 Chapter Assembly and PFO Week 4 Week 5 3. Fellowship If a member fails to attend a particular PFO, the chapter head (and coordinator) will ensure that he/she attends the next time said PFO becomes available. The Chapter (with the approval of his/her Cluster Head) can ask the member to attend the said PFO in another cluster, if it the PFO is being conducted there. SPECIFIC PLANNING CONSIDERATION FOR THE CLUSTER 1. The first 5 Pastoral Formation Tracks are conducted subsequently (one after the other), to wit: YOUTH CAMP COVENANT ORIENTATION FAMILY CULTURE YOUTH POWER DISCOVERY CAMP 2. - entry point - within 3 months after the Youth Camp - 3 months after the Covenant Orientation - 3 months after the Family Culture - at least 1 year after the Youth Camp The rest of the PFO tracks can be done in no particular order as long as it is conducted within the year it is suppose to be conducted, to wit: YEAR 2 YEAR 3 – PARENT’S HONORING NIGHT, STAKE FOR THE NATION, 100% FREE – VOCATION RECOLLECTION, BEST WEEKEND, CHURCH AND SACRAMENTS, YOUTH ADVOCATE WORKSHOP 1.
