א .מטרות ותוכן הקורס:
בקורס נבחן את הקשרים המורכבים שבין הגירה ,מיעוטים אתניים ועבריינות .הקורס מתחיל עם הסתכלות תיאורטית
וסטטיסטית -מה אנחנו יודעים היום על הקשר שבין הגירה ופשיעה .לאחר מכן אנו נבחן סוגיות שונות בעולם
ובישראל :עבריינות של נוער מהגר וכנופיות נוער ,אלימות במשפחה בקרב משפחות מהגרים ,פשיעה וזהות אתנית,
גזענות ועבריינות ,שימוש באלכוהול וסמים בקרב מהגרים ,מהגרי עבודה ועבריינות ועוד .בנוסף ,במהלך הסמסטר
נצפה בשני סרטים שמתבוננים על הקשר שבין סוגיות אתניות לבין עבריינות ואלימות .הקורס דורש מעורבות
אקטיבית מהמשתתפים -נוכחות ,קריאה ודיון.
ב .מהלך השיעורים:
הקורס כולל שיעורים קבוצתיים ,עם שילוב של מצגות ,קריאת מאמרים ,דיונים וסרטים שנוגעים בנושאי הקורס.
הקורס מבוסס על קריאה שוטפת והשתתפות פעילה של המשתתפים בקורס .לאחר השיעורים הראשונים,
הסטודנטים מתבקשים להכין את הנושאים ולהציג בכיתה.
