Arrangements should be made at least one year prior
to the marriage. Please contact the Parish Priest.
Pastoral Care of the Sick ~ Anointing of The Sick
Please call the Parish Priest when serious illness
occurs or when the sick, aged, or incapacitated are
confined to home for an extended period.
Arrangements can be made to bring Communion to
those unable to get to church. After office hours and
on weekends, for an emergency sick call, please call

THE SEASON OF LENT
COME, BE RECONCILED WITH YOUR GOD
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered
every Saturday from 3:30 pm to 3:50 pm. Also
before the Polish and Spanish Mass on Friday
night. You may also call the parish office to set
up an appointment with any of the priests. The
annual Reconciliation Service for our county will
be held at Immaculate Conception Church on
Chestnut Avenue, on March 25th. Also every
Tuesday evening during Lent at Sacred Heart
Church from 5:00pm to 6:00PM. Confession for
our Polish Community will be held on Saturday
evening, March 28th, at 7:00PM.
PALM SUNDAY OF
OUR LORD’S PASSION
Will be celebrated on Sunday, 29 March 2015.
Blessed palms will be distributed at each
weekend Mass in remembrance of Jesus’
triumphal entrance into Jerusalem.
THE CHURCHES OF MERCER COUNTY
Journey during Lent to a different Church in
Mercer County for Lenten evening Mass and an
opportunity to visit some of the beautiful Catholic
churches of the County. This week’s Station
Churches are: Tuesday, March 24 ~
St.
George Church Titusville,
6:30 pm and
Wednesday, March 25 ~ Divine Mercy Parish,
Holy Cross Church 7:30 pm. Mass will begin with
a brief history of the parish followed by an
optional tour of the Church.
THE STATIONS OF THE CROSS
The Stations of the Cross are prayed every
Friday afternoon in Holy Cross Church at 12:15
noon.
LENTEN FRIDAYS ~ DAYS OF ABSTINANCE
This means that Catholics over 14 years must
abstain from meat (and soup or gravy made from
meat) on Fridays of Lent. Good Friday is a day of
fast and abstinence.
SOLEMNITY OF THE
ANNUNCIATION OF THE LORD
MARCH 25
This Wednesday, March 25th the ‘Station
Church’ will be celebrated in our Parish of
the Divine Mercy at 7:30 pm. Some of our
parishioners have been following the
tradition of attending mass during the Lenten
weekdays at these evening masses. This
Wednesday is our turn to celebrate the mass
and we encourage you to attend and help us
welcome our neighbors from all over the
county.

CWV AUXILIARY
Holy Cross CWV Auxiliary will next meet on
Tuesday, April 14, at 1 p.m., at the Post Home.
All members should make every effort to attend.
There will be no meeting in March.
SENIORS
Our meeting will resume on Wednesday, April 8,
2015 at 12:00 noon in Felician House at 233
Adeline Street, Trenton. Lunch will be served
followed by the meeting and bingo and game
playing. All Seniors of the Parish are welcome.
DIOCESAN YOUTH CELEBRATION
On March 22nd, 2015 at Notre Dame High School, Lawrenceville, hundreds of teens from all over the
Diocese will come together for DYC-Diocesan Youth Celebration. All students in 8th-12th grade are
invited to participate in this day designed to deepen their faith and of course have an amazing time. It
will be a dynamic day full with high quality speakers, a live band, Adoration, Confession, Mass, and
Breakout sessions with nationally renowned speakers. The cost is $20.00 and includes a T-Shirt and
