An exciting opportunity has become available for an innovative and dynamic individual to join our
team as Team Leader- Ultrasound. You will not only provide leadership to our highly skilled
sonographer team, you will also be a key contributor in the operation of the Radiology department.
The Radiology service is located across two sites, Middlemore Hospital (MMH) an 800 bedded acute
hospital and the Manukau HealthPark (MHP), offering non acute, elective and outpatient clinics. All
modalities are provided except PET CT and Nuclear Medicine. The Ultrasound service performs a
variety of examinations including general abdomens, obstetric and gynaecology, small parts,
musculoskeletal, paediatric and neonatal and vascular examinations.
Essential:




Relevant Diagnostic Sonographer qualification
A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience in Ultrasound
Significant experience in general and obstetric ultrasound
Excellent Leadership, planning and communication skills
