Outline all educational activity outside of the Ultrasound Fellowship (for example: Critical
care fellows)
Director of additional ultrasound education (for example: John Doe, MD, Emergency
Ultrasound Director)
Details of the additional education. This should include the applications covered, # hours of
instruction, description of the education (eg,. formal didactics, hands-on instruction), etc.
For example:
 Central line access to critical care fellows (3 fellows)
4 hours/year
1 hour formal didactics
3 hours hands on instruction
 Emergency ultrasound to emergency medicine residents
1 hour/month – didactic
 Weekly QA review of all ultrasounds performed in the department – fellows, faculty,
EM residents, and PAs from the ED
