Freelance Opportunities Associate Financial Health Trainers Delivery fees: £100 - £450 per session depending on time/location/complexity Purpose: Toynbee Hall deliver high profile financial health programmes and need additional capacity to deliver across the UK. We are therefore seeking a number of high impact freelance Associate Trainers, who are passionate about empowering individuals and communities to take control of their finances, to support us to deliver our financial inclusion and capability courses across the UK on a piece by piece basis as required. We have immediate work training intermediary staff and volunteers to support clients with their financial health. We will hold our first induction sessions between 28 – 30 September 2015, for “Train the Trainer” delivery across the UK starting in October. Deliver Toynbee Hall’s financial capability workshops to an exceptionally high standard, meeting the Toynbee Hall quality requirements and following the Toynbee Hall ethos: 2. Commit to an initial induction period which will equip you to deliver training the “Toynbee Hall way”. 3. Follow Toynbee Hall processes regarding monitoring and evaluation. 4. Provide honest and timely feedback on our programmes to the National Services Team to enable us to maintain the highest levels of impact. What we are looking for: Knowledge/Skills: Hold a professional teaching/training qualification (such as PTTLS, DTTLS, CTTLS or an Award in Education and Training) Have a minimum two years’ experience delivering financial education or other educational programmes Experience of delivering train-the-trainer courses Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adopt a range of approaches and teaching methods in order to accommodate different learning styles Understanding of behavioural change theory Knowledge of the financial inclusion sector Awareness of informed consumerism Be willing to acquire a good understanding of the components of money management Personal qualities Committed to keeping your subject knowledge base up to date and continuing your professional development in financial health. Able to represent Toynbee Hall when delivering on our behalf, upholding Toynbee Hall’s vision, values and reputation.
