Many WATERCOLOR artists do not like using white paint in their work. However, when used properly, it is a great tool. Here’s a suggestion: Do not put white paint on your palette where it will dry out. You always want it fresh out of the tube. Make sure your painting is completely dry before using the white paint. By not allowing the paper to completely dry first, adding white will muddy up the color you are trying to cover. Remember, white is opaque. It can be used to add back highlights that may have gotten lost. Get well wishes ! June Holwell, Thom Patai , Ron Leblanc & Flori Landry’s mom. Also, our sincere condolences to those who have lost loved ones: The Kerwin family, Mary Jane LeRouge and family. If you are aware of any member that needs our prayers for an illness or loss of a loved one, please contact Peggy Delery Pospisil 504-305-9792 This tip was submitted by Marie Fink.
