X-Rite to Showcase Color Management Solutions for the
Textile Industry at ITMA
Unique toolkit Used by Leading Thread Supplier
Ensures End-to-End Color Consistency
REGENSDORF, Switzerland, September 30, 2015 – X-Rite Incorporated, a
global leader in color science and technology, and its subsidiary Pantone LLC, will
demonstrate a full range of color management solutions at ITMA 2015 in Milan,
Italy, from November 12 to 19. ITMA is the world’s most established textile and
garment machinery exhibition, bringing together industry leaders for a discussion
on emerging trends and innovative solutions. In Hall 7, Booth H112, X-Rite
Pantone will showcase its suite of color management systems that enables the
textile industry to establish and match color preferences, ensuring accuracy at
each point in the manufacturing process.
“Accurate color is an essential component of the textile industry, but depending
on fabric type and manufacturing source, specific colors can be difficult to
replicate. In addition, production techniques for the textile industry are
broadening to include digital technologies. The challenge for color consistency
has never been greater,” says Francesco Tomasello, VP Sales & Marketing
EMEA. “At ITMA, X-Rite will show how our solutions can ensure that color is
right, time after time – no matter what fabric or technology is used.”
At ITMA, X-Rite Pantone will demonstrate the power of its next generation
benchtop sphere spectrophotometers, the Ci7800 and Ci7600. These new
spectrophotometers include features that reduce errors and improve
productivity throughout the textile manufacturing process. Users can
ensure excellent sample-to-sample color measurement from raw materials
all the way through to the delivery of a color-perfect product.
“We will also be unveiling a brand-new light booth solution at the show that has
some unique capabilities we believe attendees will find attractive,” Tomasello
adds. In addition, X-Rite will highlight a range of solutions designed to ensure
color accuracy throughout the textile supply chain:

SpectraLight QC, providing a holistic visual color assessment system that
combines state-of-the-art light sources with a data-driven back-end to
ensure inter-instrument agreement across the supply chain.

The Ci6x family of handheld spectrophotometers — Ci60, Ci62, Ci64 &
Ci64UV is a performance-driven solution for managing color at any stage
of production, and gives manufacturers a whole new level of confidence in
their color data, regardless of where or when the measurements are
collected.

CAPSURE, a handheld color-matching tool that accurately measures color
on smooth, textured, or patterned objects, making it ideal for the textile
industry.

ERX130, providing in-line reflectance measurement that eliminates costly
production line errors.

Software solutions offering the latest in color management tools.
NetProfiler 3 enables the easy verification, optimization and certification of
color measurement devices, while Color iQC is a job-oriented software
solution that removes the guesswork from evaluating colors.

An update to the PANTONE® FASHION, HOME + INTERIORS Color
System that adds 210 new colors, bringing the total to 2,310 colors. New
colors include spicy, deeper and more golden oranges; more intense
blacks, sultry, elegant reds; and a variety of new shades in pinks and
blues that have resulted from Pantone trend-spotting intelligence and
consumer and client research.
