Itinerary: Island Coast HS 4:30 PM Report wearing band shirt and shorts. Begin loading 5:30 PM Roll call 5:45 PM Load the buses 6:00 PM Depart for Island Coast 6:30 PM Arrive at Island Coast. Immediately line up in uniform to march over. 7:30 PM Kick off 10:00 PM* Game ends, line up to march back 10:30 PM Depart Island Coast 11:00 PM Arrive at NHS. Immediately turn in uniform. Unload equipment *After the game ends, all times are approximate. Students are to report WEARING the issued band shirt for the current season and athletic shorts. At the time of roll call, students are to have all uniform parts, instruments and flip folders in hand. After the roll is called, the director will dismiss students to get on the bus by class (seniors, juniors, sophomores, freshmen). It is important that students go directly to the buses after roll call. Take care of your business before roll. At the time of arrival, students will wait until they are told get off the bus. Once told so, students will get off the bus in FULL UNIFORM, get their instrument, and line up to march over to the stands. Students will file into the stands in an orderly fashion. There is ABSOLUTELY NO PLAYING until told to do so. After half-time students, will file back into the stands before they are dismissed for their 3rd quarter break. All students are to be back in the stands ready to play by the 2:00 mark on the game clock. Any student not back on time will forfeit their 3rd quarter break privileges for the next game. Students are to represent their school in the most respectful manner. Any student acting inappropriately, as deemed by the director, will forfeit their 3rd quarter privileges for the next game. After the game, students will wait for the director’s signal to line up to march back. Once back at the buses, students will load their equipment and get on the bus. The quicker we load, the quicker we go home. Students will be instructed to call their parents on their cell phones to let them know when we are departing. Upon arrival back at North, students will complete the following in order: 1. Unload all equipment 2. Turn in all uniform parts Parents are instructed to wait outside the band room for their child. Only parents helping with uniforms will be allowed inside. Other Things: Students are to carry themselves with the utmost integrity. From the minute, we get on the bus, we are representing ourselves and the school. The Marching Knights will provide spirit for the football team, but also be the best representation of North Fort Myers High School. Students will show the utmost respect to all chaperones. “Please” and “Thank you” are not optional. Any student found disrespecting a chaperone will be subject to disciplinary procedures at the discretion of the director.
