b. Put EVERYTHING on paper, anything you can think of
c. Need one brainstorm for each paragraph
2. Outline
a. Organize ideas from brainstorm in list form
b. Choose best ideas
c. PHRASES NOT SENTENCES
d. MOST IMPORTANT STEP – entire essay comes from this
e. Need one outline for each paragraph
