‫שעות קבלה‪:‬‬
‫מטרות השיעור‪ :‬במסגרת הקורס נדון בסוגיות מתודולוגיות מרכזיות המעסיקות סוציולוגים במחקר‪.‬‬
‫הקורס אינו מלמד טכניקות מחקר‪ ,‬אלא עוסק באופנים השונים בהם אנו מיישמים מחקר אמפירי‪ .‬במהלך‬
‫הסמסטר נדון במגוון גישות למחקר‪ .‬למשל‪ ,‬מחקר מבוסס נתונים כמותיים‪ ,‬אתנוגרפיה‪ ,‬המחקר‬
‫ההשוואתי‪ ,‬מחקרי מקרה לעומת מחקרים מייצגים‪ ,‬בעיות של קשר וסיבתיות‪ ,‬ועוד‪ .‬ננסה לעמוד על‬
‫היתרונות והמגבלות של גישות שונות ועל הקשר בין שאלות המניעות מחקר והכלים בהם אנו נעזרים‬
‫לחקירתן‪.‬‬
‫דרישות‪ :‬השיעורים יתנהלו כדיון‪ .‬התלמידים נדרשים להתכונן היטב לקראת כל שיעור ושיעור‪ .‬יש‬
‫לקרוא את כל חומר הקריאה ולהכין הערות ושאלות לקראת הדיון שנקיים בשיעור‪ .‬בכל שיעור יהיו‬
‫מובילי דיון מקרב הסטודנטים (אחד או שנים) שיציגו את הנושא ויעלו נקודות לדיון ביקורתי‪.‬‬
‫במהלך הסמסטר הסטודנטים יידרשו להגיש ‪ 4‬מטלות קצרות (מתוך ‪ 5‬מטלות שיפורסמו במהלך הקורס)‪.‬‬
‫מטרתם העיקרית של מטלות אלה לעודד קריאה יסודית של החומר הביבליוגרפי‪ .‬התלמידים יידרשו‬
‫להגיש בסוף הקורס עבודה המתארת הצעת מחקר בנושא כלשהו לפי בחירת התלמיד‪/‬ה‪ .‬במרכז ההצעה‬
‫יעמוד דיון מתודולוגי המבוסס על הכלים שנלמדו בקורס‪ .‬העבודה תוגש באמצעות הדוא"ל עד ל‪7 -‬‬
‫באוקטובר ‪.2015‬‬
