Job Responsibilities :
DUTIES& RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serving as a member of interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide
quality patient care for patients with life-threatening illnesses including:
acute myocardial infarction, acute embolic and hemorrhagic stroke,
anoxic brain injury, acute respiratory failure, ARDS, sepsis, congestive
heart failure, drug overdose, DKA, patients with multiple post-op
complications, and end of life care.

Responsible for frequent assessment of very unstable patients, evaluating
patient conditions, initiating, and implementing appropriate
interventions.

Closely monitoring changes in patient status and their response to
treatment.

Discussing any changes in patient's condition with family members,
education about disease processes, and rationale behind implemented
treatment.

Close communication with physicians and other team members about
patient status changes, their progress, and response to treatment.

Displaying excellent clinical skills in managing care of up to 3 unstable
patients.

Reacting effectively in emergency situation and demonstrating sound
decision making.

Providing the support for family members and significant others of
patients during difficult situations.

Practicing according to EBP and protecting patients’ rights and their
privacy.

