Complete mind map Use the clues on the handout to complete the mind map about Mass Media Evaluation When asked what the mass media is, most students had an idea its meaning but very few could actually explain it properly in English. Several of them could list some of the examples of mass media. The PowerPoint presentation therefore provided the students with the content required to inform them about the mass media. A section of the class needed Slovene translations in order to understand parts of the presentation. Some students did not like the fact that everything was on PowerPoint because it meant they had to take more notes. It was then noted that many students like to receive handouts that complement a PowerPoint. Completing the mind map was relatively easy for the students, which showed that they had a good understanding of the topic at the end of the lesson.
