ICU NURSE
As ICU Nurse establishes or contributes to the overall health care plans for the critical patients. Required at any time to help other nurse on the floor by providing personal care to the patients. Other duties may include administering medications, checking dosage and patient’s histories for possible interactions. They may start, maintain and discontinue intravenous lines for administration of fluids, blood products and medications. A ICU Nurse performed frequent patient evaluations including monitoring and tracking vital signs, performing procedures. Because ICU Nurse is much more regular contact with patients than doctors, we are usually first to notice problems or raise concern about patient progress.
