permission slip from the front office. The deadline for returning your guest slips is Monday, April 20th so hurry in and pick
up your guest slip!! (S. Vargas)
3. Attention Seniors: Post-Prom is fast approaching and the senior class wants to make it a memorable experience for
everyone. You can help make this happen! The Class of 2015 is asking for all those that have a part-time job to ask
their employers for small gifts, donations, and gift cards to be used as door prizes at this year’s Post Prom. Please ask
your bosses if they are able to donate, all donations are welcome and we’ll make sure to give your place of business a
major shout-out of thanks after the midnight madness. All donations are accepted and can be given to Mr. Loizzo in
Room 501. If you have any questions, see Mr. Loizzo. (A. Loizzo)
4. Prom tickets are available now! Tickets are $25 per student or $50 per couple. At the time of purchase you will need
to know what you and your date would like for your meal. The meal options that are available: 8oz Steak, Chicken
Cordon Blue, or Pasta with either Alfredo or Marinara sauce. (G. Aschebrook)
5. Currently, nearly 124,000 men, women and children are awaiting organ transplants in the United States. An average of
21 people die each day because an organ was not made available for transplant. 90% of Americans say they support
donation, but only 30% know the essential steps to take to be a donor. Emily Lyons was able to save 6 lives by being a
donor and help many others through donation of her corneas and tissue. April is Organ Donation awareness month so on
Friday, April 17th wear your blue and green to show support and spread awareness of the impact you can make! (M.
Gehring)
