2016 BRANCH COMMITTEE CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
Museums Australia Inc. (Victoria) 2016 Branch Committee call for nominations
The Museums Australia By-Laws govern and determine the governing process for the Victorian Branch:

Nominations are being called for election to the Committee of Museums Australia Inc. (Victoria) for the
2016 – 2018 term. Nominations can be made for the Executive Committee (four positions) or for an
Ordinary Member (one position).
Nominations must be received by 5 pm on Wednesday 10 February 2016. If a ballot is required, the
ballot will open in late February and close in late March. The elected committee will be announced at
the Annual General Meeting at 6 pm on Tuesday 26 April 2016.
Candidates for election and their nominators must be an Individual Member or a designated
representative of an Institutional Member of Museums Australia Inc. Nominees must provide a short
(200 words max.) summary of their experience, skills and interest in joining the Branch Committee.
