Summary of Narrative Comments: Only 7 of the 29 students who took part in the survey, actually left comments. These comments varied from one student noting “I didn’t care for the book. The teacher knew much more than the book presented.” While another student noted that they liked the textbook. Most comments were positive about the instructors’ styles of teaching, although one noted that “quizzes should only be worth 5 points.” C. Comparison of current to the last two years results include a summary of any trends or patterns. Unfortunately, we were unable to compare the results from the last academic year because they were erased from Blackboard before the course coordinator could collect the data. IV. IV. ATI TESTING RESULTS (only for courses with ATI tests) (Including comparison of current results with results from the last two semesters) In the spring, 27 students failed to meet Level 2 during first attempt testing and had to retest. Second attempt, 6 students failed to meet Level 2 and had their clinical grade dropped by a letter grade. Total 76 of 82 students ultimately passed for a pass rate of 92.68%. In the fall, 19 students failed to meet Level 2 and 18 retested (out of 91). Second attempt, 3 students failed to meet Level 2 and 4 students had their clinical grade dropped by a letter grade. Total 87 of 91 students ultimately passed for a pass rate of 95.6%. The group mean for Southeastern continues to surpass the national and program means for the ATI Mental Health Exam. RECOMMENDATIONS TO LEVEL: Upgrade the textbook to the newest edition, which includes the new DSM V changes. Fall 2013
