The Urinary course is prepared for inclement weather
for their exam this week. Someone from OIS will be at
the exam in case some students choose to endure the
weather. If students are unable to attend a make-up
exam will be scheduled.
Reminder: there is information regarding classroom OIS
support in case of emergency on CC2 website under
contacts.
Action Items
Post information on CC2
website regarding
adverse weather policy.
A decision was made was to do mapping at a course
level rather than session level.
A template will be designed to help map each course
around our milestones, 96 common diseases and LCME
hot topics.
The template will provide a column to indicate at what
level the topic has been addressed in the course (high,
level, none) as well as a column to indicate that the topic
will be assessed.
The template will be sent to each course director in the
next few days with a deadline of mid-January.
We will review the results at the next CC2 meeting.
Course Directors and faculty are responsible for
proctoring their exams in their course.
Faculty are advised to review The Policies and Guidelines
of the School of Medicine, Article 6.07, the Notes and
Procedures for the Examination Policy for Pre-Clinical
Medical Students courses.
In the current on-line testing program a student cannot
access the exam until they confirm they have read the
honor code.
There are increasing concerns regarding policies on takehome exams due to recent allegations of cheating.
 A student who “witnesses” cheating is not required
to take the allegation to the Honor Court.
Next meeting: 1/25/11, 4:00pm, 133 MacNider
Create a policy on
proctoring and add to
the CC2 website.
