Dear Colleagues,
We are glad to invite you to take part in the international theoretical and practical conference
‘Socio-cultural and psychological problems of the modern family:
topical issues of maintenance and support’
The Conference will be held on October 21-22, 2015 on the basis of Tula State Lev Tolstoy
Pedagogical University, Tula.
The conference aims to professional development and integration of efforts of the scientific
community in the dissemination of regional and international experience on finding the most appropriate methods and techniques for working with families in need of psychological maintenance and
support and of enhancing positive family traditions and values.
The conference is supposed to work in the following areas:
1. Social and cultural problems of the modern family.
2. Topical issues of maintenance and support of modern Russian family: psychological aspect.
3. World of family and social work.
4. Peculiarities of maintenance and support to families having children with disabilities in
health, development and behaviour.
5. Social and psychological assistance to families in difficult life situations: international approach to the problem.
6. Varia (materials in other areas corresponding to the conference topic are accepted).
Possible forms of participation:
1. Plenary report.
2. Section report.
3. Participation in the ‘round table’.
4. Participation by correspondence (publication of abstracts without reports at the conference).
The conference program is planned to include:
1. Plenary session.
2. Open lectures by leading psychologists and educators, sectional sessions with reports of
practitioners.
3. ‘Round table’ with international participation.
4. Master classes.
5. Possibility of the publication and presentation of results.
6. Presentation of programs, scientific and methodological literature intended for the organization of family maintenance and support.
6. Informal communication, expansion of professional contacts.
7. Cultural program.
By the beginning of the conference it is expected to publish a collection of materials included
in the database of Russian index of scientific citation (RISC) with assignment of ISBN.
Materials and applications for participation in the conference will be accepted strictly up to
May 31, 2015 by e-mail: family15@tspu.tula.ru
The editorial board of the collection reserves the right not to publish articles that do not correspond to the conference topics. Carefully edited and read texts are accepted for publication. The
volume of materials is limited by 10 pages.
Terms of publication in the proceedings:
 article volume up to 10 pages;
 font Times New Roman 14 pt, 1.5 spacing; margins – 2 cm;
 article structure:
– surname, first name, middle name of author(s) (in Russian and English);
– city, organization (in Russian and English);
– title of the article (in Russian and English);
– abstract (in Russian and English);
– keywords (in Russian and English);
– content of article;
– bibliography.
Registration form of metadata to accommodate the collection of articles in the Scientific
Electronic Library (eLibrary.ru) and to include it in the Russian Science Citation Index (RISC) is
placed at the end of the manuscript. Page with the form is not included in the scope of the article.
1. Title of the article.
2. Information about the author(s):
– surname, name of the author (authors) WITHOUT ABBREVIATIONS AND IN THE
NOMINATIVE CASE;
– workplace of author(s) (preferably one that you have been registered in the RISC);
– contact information (e-mail) of author(s) (is required).
3. Abstract in Russian and English (2–3 sentences up to 240 characters).
4. Keywords in Russian and English (3–5).
5. Bibliography.
In the absence of the registration form of metadata or its erroneous filling, the author is responsible for these data (Please carefully reread the materials you send: we together have the responsibility to the scientific community).
Requirements for materials of the conference
Page parameters: all margins are 2 cm. Page numbers should not be indicated in electronic
form and should be numbered in pencil in printed form. The text of the report, tables and figures
(schemes) should be written in Microsoft Word 7 with the file extension .rtf. Graphs and Charts
should be made using Excel. Text Font: Times New Roman, size 14, spacing 1.5.
The conference will take place in: prospekt Lenina, 125, building № 4, Tula, Russia.

The organizing committee reserves the right for selection of applications Texts are not reviewed, denials are not motivated. Deadline for article submission for is May 31, 2015.
The registration fee for the conference is 400 rubles.
The registration fee includes: participation in the conference, handouts, delivery of conference
materials (in the case of participation by correspondence), and excursions. Accommodation, food
and transport costs are due to the sending side.
Proceedings of the conference are published for free.
A copy of the document confirming payment of the registration fee, will be sent by e-mail:
family15@tspu.tula.ru after a positive decision on publication.
