COLLEGE OF EDUCATION SCHOOL BASED JOURNAL Diploma of Education Studies (ADES) The School Based Journal (SBJ) will require Diploma of Educational Studies students to document their experience and initial inquiry into teaching and learning in a primary school setting during their 5-day professional experience. Students will document their experience based on personal observations, discussions with mentor teachers and other school staff and University Praxis Inquiry lecturers. Students are required to complete a SBJ (using this proforma) and submit a copy to their AEB1101 ‘Learning in a Changing World’ Victoria University Tutor no later than week beginning 8th June, 2015. This Journal should be word-processed. Students should retain the original for future course and other requirements. Each student is required to submit the completed SBJ to their PI lecturer and be prepared to discuss/ share their learning outcomes with their PI class peers. What were my contributions during this placement? PI lecturers may suggest additional questions that could be used to support the development of the report. This journal must not to be left with the school for forwarding to Victoria University. The Project Partnerships Office does not accept reports or journals under any circumstances.
