Highlights:
 We received word that we have been selected to receive the Lead and Inspire award from ASU. We will
have an assembly at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8th.
 Our track performed well at the Chandler Rotary placing 24th out of 109 schools. The boys 4x100 team
was second.
 Our softball team is competing well with a second in state power point ranking.
 Our baseball team won the Estrella Foothills tournament over the weekend. They are also ranked
second in state.
 The tennis and golf teams are also doing well this season.
 The FHS Chess Team placed second at a tournament over last weekend.

Principal’s Summary:
We are very excited to have won the Lead and Inspire award. It is an award that is given to one rural and urban
high school each year. We have seen significant growth in the areas of academics, arts, and athletics over the
past three years. We are extremely proud of our students at FHS.
