KNOWLEDGE Essential h) Knowledge of mixed culture biochemical/biotechnology processes; more specifically lithotrophic methanogenic conversions i) Knowledge of reactor design that rely on gas to liquid transfers j) Knowledge of analytical, design and operational techniques for biochemical anaerobic processes EXPERIENCE Essential (k) Project experience at post graduate level in design and operation of a C1 biomethanation processes (min 1 year). (l) Experience in project work as part of a team (m) Experience of carrying out laboratory based experimental work related to anaerobic gas conversion processes (n) Experience of compiling information from various sources and writing findings and results (o) Experience of using a number of chemical analytical techniques and using various instrumentation to monitor and control biological processes TRAINING Essential (p) A chemistry/biology based science or engineering degree (q) Accomplished relevant training through a full/partial research postgraduate programme directly related to the biomethanation process.
