RECOMMENDED MOTION: “WHEREAS, on August 26, 2015 the ESBOCES Board
passed a resolution awarding ESBOCES Bid #2015-023-0604: Carpentry Services, to
Madison Avenue Construction of West Islip, NY and Renu Contracting & Restoration,
Inc. of Copiague, NY;
WHEREAS, it was subsequently discovered that a court order had been issued by
Judge Santorelli in the Suffolk County Supreme Court, requiring ESBOCES to table and
remove such awards from its agenda and prohibiting ESBOCES from placing such
items on the agenda at any subsequent meeting pending further order of the Court;
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Eastern Suffolk Board of Cooperative Educational Services
rescinds its award to Madison Avenue Construction of West Islip, NY and Renu
Contracting & Restoration, Inc. of Copiague, NY for Bid #2015-023-0604: Carpentry
Services;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, in accordance with the order of the Court, the Eastern
Suffolk Board of Cooperative Educational Services will not place this item on its agenda
at any subsequent Board meeting pending further order from the Court.”
