Applications are available today in Ms. Watson's room, 1019. Applications will be due on Wednesday, February 10th. Don't miss your chance to join! It's getting to be Spring Scholarship Season! Student Services will be receiving scholarship information through March, so stop by to see what's new. Currently, Juniors can apply for the Coolidge Scholars Program, a full-ride to the college of your choice. For Seniors, the Cary Rotary Club Scholarship is now available. This is a $1000 award, renewable for four years. Applications are printed and ready in Student Services. Seniors, your senior dues are due by February 26, 2016. Your $20 senior dues may be paid in the main office or you may pay online. The link is on our home page. If you are paying by check, please make the check out to Cary High School. Spanish club will meet on Tuesday, February 9th at 2:30 in room 2311. New members welcome! Film Club will have its first meeting of the semester TODAY at 2:30pm in room 2121. Meetings will continue every two weeks for the rest of the semester. New members are welcome any time! Spring track meeting. Wednesday February 3rd, room 2222 A lunch. The PTSA Scholarship application is now available in Student Services. Two awards will be given this year: $1000 for a 4-year college, and $500 for a 2-year technical or vocational school. Scholarship deadline is Monday, April 4. The North Carolina Bar Association is sponsoring a free conference designed to reach minority students considering law school. The conference will be at North Carolina Central University School of Law on Saturday, March 19th, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM. Attendees will hear from law school deans, participate in a mock law school class, discover what admissions offices are looking for in potential students, speak with current law school students and practicing attorneys, and discuss careers available with a law degree. The Ball will be held on Friday, February 19th. Tickets will only be available until February 15th. Please come to the JROTC office for tickets or for more information. All JROTC cadets interested in participating in a field trip during March to Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and the Fort Macon Coast Guard Station, an interest meeting will be held in the JROTC classroom on Wednesday during SmartLunch A. The Environmental club will meet during B lunch this Wednesday in room 1108. New members are welcome. Attention any and all ladies interested in playing softball this year for Cary High, there will be a Mandatory meeting on Wednesday during 'A' lunch in Coach Jewell's room 2103. All tryout information will be given at this meeting so please plan to attend. NEW: There will be no Film Club meeting after school today. Film Club's first meeting of the semester has been postponed until next Tuesday due to advisor illness.
