Light and Life at Christ Cathedral-Southern California Mobile Ultrasound Dinner Gala,
Thursday, April 16, 2015, at beautiful Christ Cathedral Arboretum in Orange County.
This is the Knights' 4th Annual Spring Dinner in support of the Light and Life 70X7
Mobile Ultrasound Initiative – this year we will raise funds for Original Equipment
Manufacture-Mobile Medical Units for Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego Counties!
The evening will be "catered" by the California State KofC Council Ultrasound and
Mobile Ultrasound program committee-men and the Light and Life Foundation, which
underwrites the 70X7 Initiative, with LA-, OC- and SD-KofC councils assisting.
The Right to Life League of Southern California and Los Angeles and LA Pregnancy
Services are our LA-Opus 1 and Opus-2 Partner-Beneficiaries; Pregnancy Resource
Center-San Clemente and Horizon Pregnancy Center-Huntington Beach are our OC
Opus-1 and Opus-2 Partner-Beneficiaries; and, Alternatives Womens' CenterEscondido is our SD-Opus 4 Partner-Beneficiary. Save-the Storks Foundation

The evening will feature our delicious Osterreichishes Geschnetzeltes Huhnerfilet,
rice medley, vegetable and salad ... and fresh baguettes and tasty desert courtesy of
The French Gourmet, of San Diego. Our five LA-, OC- and SD-Opus Partners will share
with us inspiring stories of light piercing through the darkness – we’ll hear about
great advances being made in West Coast-mobile ultrasound-mediated pregnancy
support ministry from the very Disciples who are helping save lives … families at a
time … through the God-given light of ultrasound! .
Immaculate Heart Radio’s Cy Kellett is our Evening’s Program Master of Ceremonies.
Catholic Answer’s Tim Staples [Behold Your Mother] will be our Key-note Speaker.
We, again, will feature the heart-warming piano and song of the lovely Briana Robell.
Retired General Atomics Engineer, Tom Colandrea, SD-Opus 4 AWC-Escondido Board
Member, will share with us the outstanding features of Southern California’s first MBFreightliner Diesel-MMU platform. And, yes, we’ll be presenting dozens of attractive
items available in, both, silent and live auctions, and an exciting grand prize raffle.
Doors open at 5 pm at the Christ Cathedral Cultural Center for Registration-Christ
Cathedral Exhibit Reception and at 6 pm at the Arboretum, itself, for Continuing
Reception-Social Hour and Silent Auction, with Dinner being served 7 - 8 pm. Be
ready for a hurricane-force live auction, 8 - 8:15 pm, and close out your purchases of
unique, one-of-a-kind prizes in our silent auction by 8:30 pm.
